CB360 Solenoid Neutral Wire With Nowhere To Go

Been Around the Block
Hi guys,

Me again. I have replaced the rather butchered harness on my 360 with an intact, unchopped one from eBay. My dilemma is this:

My starter solenoid has a green/red wire (which Sonreir informs me is the neutral wire - thanks Sonreir you're the man). The old harness has a green/red wire for the one on the solenoid to connect to, the new harness does not. Is this going to be a problem? With nowhere for the solenoid neutral wire to go, do I just leave it loose?

As always, thanks for your help.

Neutral wire is light green/red while some solenoids had a dark green/red.

The other wire coming from the solenoid should be yellow/red and connects into the wire of the same color in the harness.

The dark green/red wire can be grounded directly. This will bypass all of the following (if you have them): neutral switch, clutch switch, and side stand switch.

In essence, you remove all the "safety" features so that the starter will engage any time you press the starter button.

If you want to keep all those safety features, lemme know and we can trace the wiring through.
