CB360 Wiring to battery?

renslow

Been Around the Block
Purchased an old 360 that wasnt running and I wanted to see if this looked correct? The blue plug was hooked up to the battery and im not sure if thats correct or not. Hard to search for it and i figured i would post a picture real quick to see. How do i run the positive terminal for my battery?

blue wire to positive is correct, altough not original. the battery positive sits on one end of the solenoid, the frame (grounding) sits on the other side. The red wire to regulator and ignition lock are also on that same end as the blue wire in your first pic. the blue wire is way to thin to be a battery positive btw.

When you push the starter button (black and red/yellow) you switch the solenoid.
when you turn on the ignition, the red wire to the lock connects to black going into the loom.

red is always hot, black is hot when ignition is on. black/white is power to the coils. put the battery positive on black/white and the negative on the frame. kick and smile.

Ah, I see! Well I appreciate the response. I realized that the answer was somewhat on the wiring diagram but i just wanted to make sure.

Still not receiving any power once I hook the battery up I'm starting to get lost with these electrical bugs. Does the stock rectifier and regulator have to be bolted down? Grounded to the frame?
