CB400 Gravenhurst (sorry if this is a double post)

Hey Everyone,

So I joined a few years ago.. Maybe just over a year ago...
Looking to get into the Cafe Racer style of living... Been shopping around for the RIGHT bike.. financially and shape... Seller etc...

I think I found the bike I will be purchasing this weekend.

It's a CB400, 1978... UVIP + Ownership and 2 keys. Runs, missing left passenger peg and bracket, brake lever, needs carb cleaning and synching and theres a dent in the tank.

For 500$... I think its a pretty deece deal!

Definitely need to get a new paint job and the decals, maybe do some polishing and change handlebars... Look into a YOM plate...
Anyway, let me know what you all think!

Took tank off battery out and looked at carbs. Wanted to remove them but couldn't... didn't have the right tools and it was getting dark.

I'll get on it soon.

Dent in tank is positioned near back left side i'm going to work with it and make knee indents out of the dent on the left and make a matchign one on the right!

I'm planning to do the same thing on my CB175 with a large dent towards the back left of the tank. Let me know how yours turns out and how you did it... could use some pointers before I start whacking away.

Congrats and have fun with your project....

The YOM plate will cost almost as much as your bike if you want to register it with Ministry

But if you just want YOM plate to have...contact this guy

I'm still in NS till end of this month.. I'm hoping to be back in the GTA by July.. if the parts are still available then. I'll definitely come have a look and probably pick them all up.
