cb450 starter chain tightening?

Does anyone know if you can tighten/remove a link to snug up the slack on the starter chain? It is a tad loose, not slack enough to rub the casing or anything, just thought while I had everything out and open I could make it proper.

No, there's no adjuster for starter chain slack. A little looseness is normal as long as it doesn't skip teeth.

It gets a bit tighter at running temperature when cases expand.
If your not sure of condition, fit a new chain
