Cb450 with Dyna coil problem.

Coast to Coast
Here's my setup
CB450 71 with Dyna coil, Dyna s ignition unit, 7amp ups gel battery, Brand new rectifier for Oregon, stock regulator.

Problem: after riding for a while one cylinder seems to cut out (I could see tach cutting out which is linked to the right coil)
So ive decided to swap the coil connection and spark plug câble and the problem seems to transfer to the other coil.

So that should rule out the Dyna s unit right?

But last time I rode it both coil went down for about 10 seconds! And came back up almost at the same moment almost broking my wrist...

When I give gaz I can see the volt meter going up. But now by much. Full charged my battery indicateurs 13 but while running it's more around 12.2 - 12.3 does it means somethings?

Ive checked the connexion of the coils and redid them. Same for the spark plugs connexion.

Any tips now?

Thanks.

Run the tach off one of the yellows from the stator (same pulse as the coils) and see if that cleans it up Dyna coils are notorious for being junk so if all is still no good, find a set of stock coils in good nick.

Dyna coil are junk? That is news to me... Ive replace crappy no name coil by Dyna coil 3-1 because of one is crapping on me... I still have the old stock one...

Just the luck of the draw... good is good and bad is bad with all coils
