Cb550 is this an over charging situation?

work9to5

See you in the wind.
I'm trying to figure out if my bike is over charging. It's a cb550 I just finished building. Has a rick's R/R on it.
R/R is wired like this-

Yellow - yellow
Yellow - yellow
Yellow - yellow
White - white
Green - to alt green
Other green - to frame ground
Red - to post on fuse box (battery attaches there as well)
Black - ran it into main loom which powers all options on bike

Only ran one power line with 30amp fuse (not popping under load)

I'm getting some voltage numbers that seem high and I'm wondering if I'm risking an over charge situation. Vid attached of multimeter at idle and rev

Lmk what you think and if I'm risking an overcharge situation. Thankshttps://vimeo.com/183236326

I'm not an electrician at all.... that said , if it's not popping your fuse I wouldn't worry about it you have to also remember wasn't built to run the electronics without running your battery out that might be why you have the higher voltage output

I think either your battery leads are loose or your multimeter is stuffed because your battery should not fluctuate between 2 and 18v so fast.

Yeah, that was it! Just got back home with a new one. Haven't thrown it on the bike to check charging numbers. But as soon as I got home with it I checked a battery the old one was saying was at 4.3 v and the new (good dmm) reads it as 13.75

Well that wasted a whole day in the garage, ugh
