grummble grumble
Hey as the ad says i have a seat pan and good foam from same seat. i took the cover off and never made a new cover for it, i was gonna recover due to a small tear in the top but didnt,
you can see where the tear let water in and the foam is SLIGHTLY depressed there, a careful application of some batting and it would never show but it is there. as seen in pics and of course there is a small indentation from the factory strap pressing down
there is no hardware or mounting tabs as i removed all of them from both the bike and the seat itself, so you will either need to fab up a latch or just attach it with bolts through the pan, maybe you are more persistent or smarter than me, i got a good deal on a cafe roc city seat off CL so i never went back to this seat. But the good news is the document holder under the seat is intact and is in fact how i got a title for this bike, the old registration from out of state was inside and i tracked him down.
if you are getting a cover from eBay or wanting a stock seat-pan to chop/try out a foam shaping techniques or need a pan to glass a form from, this is it. or shape it custom and make a custom cover to go with..... ask any questions here or via email.
