Been Around the Block
Figured I'd put up some pics of the 550 we are working on for the girlfriend... Rsv4 Wilber's racing mono shock full linkage used and set up correctly... 07 gsxr front end, custom sub frame and swing arm stretched 2 1/2 inches. Still very early in the build have a lot planned for this bike.

I was going to say the same, but judging Bobe's other builds I figured he was on it.
 
The stretched swingarm is not really my cup of tea but that looks quite sweet.
 
I'll post some good pics of the linkage and maybe vid, It works better than I could of anticipated. Had to stretch the swing arm to get the shock set up corectly, which ended up a plus because I like the look. Bracing is coming everything is still just in the trial and error mock up phase. Different bars are coming too... My buddy duke at retro moto is doing all crazy fab.

There is some crazy fabwork gonna happen to it also, and my nickname is Duke.

It will most likely get truss style bracing over the top of the swinger,still working on design.

Thanks, the bmw is getting some upgrades too. Not changing much just improving on the original design and putting some high quality parts in place of some worn out parts. Will post all that up too.

Me neither, it's a bit too long.
550 really needs about 2" longer than stock though as they can get a bit twitchy
Not sure about the BMX handlebars either but otherwise I like the rest of it

It's actually only stretched 2 1/2",the subframe makes it seem longer. those bars are just for pushing it around,lol
 
I guess the smaller tank makes the top 'tube' look shorter as well?
2-1/2" should let it handle real well, damn hooligan 8)
