CB550F Cafe Interceptor

I have too much time i guess but...

I would of just made a quick repair bracket out of some Ti sheet metal I have... polish it, maybe heat the backside to change the color and rivet it to the aluminum then use a rubber grommet to dampen it at the mount sandwiched between some smaller Ti washers and finish all off with a Ti nut and bolt 8) 8) ::)

Nice suggestion. Should have posted sooner I guess but cutting ti sheet sounds like a difficult task.
Here's the carbon/Kevlar laminate ready for trimming.

That turned out sweet! Enough for two maybe yeah?

BTW Thin Ti cuts nice with a band saw and fine metal blade or just a jig saw even as long as you feed it fairly slow... Won't load up on the blade like aluminum and it welds like a dream

Very cool FunJimmy!

What's going on with the lower shock bolts?

Good eye. That shot was taken just after fitting.
The shock needed to come off a few times to get the cutout located.
All good now.

Thanks
