hi all, this is a project that has been in the works for a while, and gone through a bunch of different looks. It stayed a 2-up bike for a long while, but finally I had to give in and make a solo seat for it. since I haven't touched it in a while, and I am happy with how it looks, I am officially declaring it finished. it's no longer a project bike, it's a rider!

If you are curious...the seat was made by me from particle board, plywood, balsawood, and then fiberglassed. The tail piece was made from sheet metal. Tail light is off a 600RR, master cylinder off a 93 ZX11, rear shocks are Redwings, Avon Roadrider tires, side covers made from sheet metal.

Thanks for all the inspiration from other projects people have posted about. Enjoy the photos.

Nice work! You should be very proud. I especially like the look you've accomplished with the tail section; innovative.

Very nice. Really like how you did the tail, very unique. Is that a satin black you used on the tank?

love it. I was thinking of doing the same circular number plate myself, now I know it will look good!

Very nice indeed! I love all the little touches that set this apart from other really nice builds.
Are you planning to do anything with that right side front disc?

hey guys, thanks. :) I'm just enjoying putting some miles on it...not that I can tell how many with tach only....

deacon- the paint is called "low gloss" and has that satin sheen to it. it is duplicolor engine enamel out of a spray can. the finish on the bike is not at all show quality, but the price was right. =)

swagger- yup, I would like to put another caliper on it, apparently, it's pretty easy to do. I would also like to drill the rotors. but...realistically, it will be a while before either actually happens.
