CB650 neutral light

Anyone have experience getting a neutral indicator light working? What are some things to troubleshoot? I've checked the switch and it's making good contact, but can't seem to figure out where else the problem would be.

The neutral switch is a ground, so...

What id do is check continuity from the switch to the motor. When the bike is in gear there should be no continuity, when it is in neutral you should have continuity.
If that checks out, then trace the wires and make sure youre getting power the the light.

strange mine just started not working, working, not working.....i have a cb650 also, haven't worried about yet as i can feel when it's in neutral, but now i'm interested! post how you make out
