Beautiful!, I'm thinking I should have gone with chrome for the clubmans i'm putting on my cb900f, good to see some dohc's being built. btw, how much of a bear was it to get those spoked wheels mounted up?

Wasn't a bear at all actually. The front wheel mounted up using the axle and spacers from the comstar wheel and the rear wheel was pretty close to the same except that I had to make a small spacer for the brake side. All the bearing sizes were the same as the Comstars.

Super clean bike. Like it a lot. I'm working on a 900F right now and was just wondering how much trouble you had rejetting the carbs for the pods and pipe. Over at the F site lots say it's a pain and don't recommend ditching the airbox without a carb swap. Did you have to drill out the pilots? Mine are pressed in. And a huge pain to clean I might add. First bike I've owned with that idiotic idea...

Hmm..good to know...thanks for the info, I can now look for a set of wire wheels to go on mine then.

Thanks

Edit: Just found your thread over on cb1100f.net, lots o good info there..

I have been out riding this thing around town and I have never gotten so much attention on any of the bikes I have built. Everyone's asking "what is that?" and "what year is that?" - it's awesome, everyone thinks it's a 60's bike. Too funny.

Cheers!

Great job, love the color you chose. I don't know what colors I want to use on my 76F. Have fun riding it peace out!!

did you change the reset location for a more aggressive riding position? how is it? it would be awesome to get a side view with a rider in place to have an idea of the positioning/proportions.

Great build! I love the crisp white and you attention to details!

Great build! i am starting to do some work on my 77 750f and turn it into a cafe racer. Im in ontario aswell, not far from toronto either.
