CB750 Metal Tank/Fiberglass Seat Painting Help

I was planning on having a pro paint my cafe project, so it would be ready to ride faster. Anyhow, i've run out of funds and am considering painting the tank and seat myself.. Ive searched all over to read up on DIY approaches and have gotten a number of different info...

Are there any link to methods/how to's that you guys would recommend?

I'm a little nervous about doing this myself after putting so much money and time into making the bike run well...

Any help would be appreciated!

What's the normal prep for spraying fiberglass?

I've read 120, 400, 1000+ but what about for Appliance Epoxy, wouldn't that adhere well to fiberglass....

Fiberglass is the same as any surface. Rough it up to 600, prime and paint.

I only go to 320 before primer, then the primer gets wet sanded with 400. Subsequent layers of paint get wet sanded with 600. Last layer of clear gets wet sanded with 1200, then buffed.
