CB750 Rear End Ideas

What about the F2 swingarm with F2 wheels, guys put them on the later DOHC's, might be an easy fit on the SOHC frame?

I've seen that it's a common swap but personally I'm leaning towards the inverted front end.. whole time I was doing Daryl's bike I was sitting there wishing I could to one the way I wanted to.. Have made some progress I suppose.. Talking to Cognito in regards to the front end.. Looks like the non inverted 500F/B models are shorter by 20mm than the 500x ones, and from what I can understand a spacer can be fabbed, (longer/shorter) on the insides of the tube to drop the front a bit more I just don't know if it will be enough to get her down low enough.. safely of course..

Going inverted was advised NOT to use the R1 front end due to stiffer spring setup and I guess valving.. So I'm just waiting to find the 500F/R front end or a nice CBR600RR front end.. I'm pretty sure I can match the rear tire pretty well with a CBR1000RR front honeycomb.. not sure of axles and what not yet..

REALLY hate not being able to touch these parts to get real measurements before clearing out the bank account...

I have a '97 CBR1100XX swinger on my bike, but it was about .06 too wide so it was machined down. Then it was just a custom set of spacers to use the stock pivot bolt.

Dig that project, Did you end up using a 'sleeve' for the pivot joint spacer? Helping a buddy with a VFR single sided arm on a '77 frame that we were able to find the exact size to fit in there.. still have a little more surgery to get it in position and figure out side spacing though..

I haven't mastered the pic thing on this forum yet but its the black and silver bike I'm referring to.. https://www.instagram.com/geminivisions

Did get the rear end in finally! still looking at measurements for the type of front end..
