CB750 tank for a CL450 CL350 or CB400 tank

I have a 76 CB750 tank, needs some TLC as far as paint and rust but no major dents or dings. looking for something smaller.

I have a tank that was bought as a 750 tank. But will not fit the frame. I get some pic'later.

Has a dent up front,but is clean inside. No idea what it fits.

so its for a cb750 but doesn't fit yours?

I would say it's for a smaller bike. It came from a 71 750 that was made into a chopper. Never saw it on his bike.The front is narrow for my frame and the tank looks smaller.

Just to help you guys out, the tank in question off of the chopper looks to be a CB360 tank.
