CG250 chonda

Is this a forum for the chonda CG250 aswell?
I have a Tao Tao TBR7 and am looking to put together information on this bike and other CG250's like the hawk 250 and csc tt250 to make a parts database.

I think we're going to be seeing a lot more CG250 based rides showing up- at least that's my hope.

Hey maybe you can help me with my immediate problem (I will save the database for another day lol) , I need a (complete) clutch assembly for my tbr7 but it's out of stock from tao tao. Do you know if the hawk 250 clutch or csctt250 clutch are identical to the tbr7, or any other identical clutch I can order? Seems like tao tao is completely out of this part

I'm afraid I will be no help to you on that. I have not physically gotten my mitts on any CG250-based bikes. I think your best line of inquiry is to go by the engine model # stamped on the case of your motor, then punch that into your favorite search engine, and a list of bikes/manufacturers should come up- giving you some alternatives to just TaoTao. From what I understand, a company such as Lifan (for example) can build the same engine for a number of different products. I think the CG250-style motor shows up in a bunch of different vehicles.
