Great pics! I gotta ask how you captured the bike. I'm no photographer, but that must be some seriously speedy shutter to get the spokes in the first pic.

I need pics of me on my bike like that, or better yet, a nice girl flippin' me the bird while riding my bike ;)

not really sure. just put it on the outdoor bright light, sports/action setting and did it with one hand off the side. got lucky really, the other 4 are blurry, don't think i let it focus right first.

That's one cool looking bike. As soon an my wife has our baby I'm gonna have to get her on my bike.

Those are great pics and a great bike. Are you going to mod the bike much or just keep it as-is?

Also, what the photographer stationary or riding in a car? Either way, great job. And I'm with Tim: I need to take some cool pics like that of my bike. The color and textures really popped.

no, i'm pretty much gonna keep it as is.

seriously, i know jack and shit about photography and jack moved!

the camera (an olympus stylus 790) usually takes disappointing pictures. i used the pre-set settings, it was just set on "sport", and the flash came on. i put on the throttle stop, hung my hand off the side and hoped for the shot. those were the only two that came out. the rest, i didn't let it focus (half push) before i finished the click.

Not a bad idea. What bar end mirrors are those? Where did you get them?

--Thanks, Chris

they were some cheapies of egay.

the problem is the throttle side. the bars were too small and the throttle hangs off the end an inch and 1/2 and i can't get that one on. again, cheapie bars from egay

Thanks. Can't you slide the control up a bit and give you enough room for the bar end mirror? I had to do that on my 350. If you get rid of one, I'm interested in taking it off your hands.

--Thanks, Chris

the reason the spokes are clear in the first photo is because the flash stopped the action for a split second within the time the shutter was open. and its set on a fairly slow shutter speed hence the very nice motion blur in the background. and because you were going the same speed as her she stayed fairly clear plus the help of the flash. i dont know much about motorcycles yet but i know my photography pretty well.

So the photo's were taken from a bike!?
Crazy.

The pictures are seriously great.

honestly...i my pictures usually suck pretty bad. i always thought it was cause i was buying average cameras but i'm beginning to think it is user error now and i got lucky.

Whoa, that color just glows. Funny how copper has come full circle back into popularity. Beautiful shots and bike, what time of day was that?

Let me know when you can ride again Chris I'd like to get some riding shots too, like jumping the hump on Legacy across Lebanon... I love that thing. They just flattened the one out a little farther down Legacy so the clock is ticking.
