Hey all,

I am making some progress on my cafe racer project and I am interested in powdercoating my fenders. Recommendations? Also how much does a job like this typically go for?
 
price depends on the condition of the fender... but i will typicly charge 100 bucks a fender 150 a tank... just depends on the prep work involved
 
do you know if your buddy would rent OVEN time? i have a large frame that needs powder... i have it all prepped, have the powder i want to use on it... just do nt have the oven big enough to fit... i woudl pay by the hour of course ... i have also sent him an email on his site... thanks for posting that! hope i can work it out... My buddys oven that i use to do my frames is packing up and moving out of state!
 
Best thing to do is Email him directly at Jazzplyr88@aol.com and see what he says.
I doubt he will have an issue with it, but I cant speak for him either..
 
I got an email quote back from Sean, his price is really tempting! ;D $75 for a fender which includes sandblasting to get rid of the rust.
Now I just have to wait for my eBay taillight so I can drill my holes and chop my fender!
 
Meh, boring semi-glossy black. It can't be too shiny cuz my frame paint is original stock and lost its luster. I was considering a wine-red color, but I am going to save that for the tank.
