Choke cable binding

I've just added pod filters to my '77 CB750k and ran into an issue where the choke cable rubs on the number 3 filter. I have to reach down and push the choke manually to get it to go all the way down. Not the end of the world, but has anyone else had this problem on a 77/78, and if so is there a workaround?

Thanks.

I have a similar issue with my '80 cb650. I'm curious to hear if anyone has any work arounds other than replacing the entire mechanism...

I figured if it bothers me down the road I will take the catch hook off and shave the edge down slightly, but I hope I can just live with the problem and avoid any surgery. I'm guessing earlier models don't have this problem because of the side choke lever, but my cable runs to the instrument pannel. I'm sure it's the same on your 650. Let me know if you think of anything.

Bend it till it works. Unless you want to keep it 100% original, wich you do not by adding pods.
