From here I still have the swing-arm, tank and cowl to prime and paint. The bike is getting new rims, tires, shocks, handlebars, custom seat, bullet lights, Dunstall replica muffler and a few other goodies.
<broken record>beware that hefty collector</broken record>
I had a 360T as well once upon a time and I loved that silly thing....except for the exhaust collector...that huge, massive, gigantic hunk of metal.....that'll kill ya! It hangs far enough into the lean angle that it'll ground out in a hard corner and if you're lucky it'll unseat one wheel or another and you'll lowside. If you're UN-lucky it'll auger in and launch you off the far side. My one and only highside on a pavement machine? 76 CB360T!
I've got scars to prove it.
Holiday- Looking good. I opted for the send the frame out to be powder coated. $175 US. Did a Graphite flake. Cut off the passenger peg and muffler mount frame loops and the ground them smooth. Along with
the seat mount welds.
Thought about wrapping the exhaust, but passed. I want to see how your exhaust paint turns out. Post when you can.
This is my CJ Tracker that i am in last stage, the seat and a bit of a hiccup in the mid-range while cruising.
You'll need to rejet (replace with VM30s would be better) to get rid of that hiccup since you're running open intake and exhaust. Now I miss my 360 more...that's going to be cool looking!

Yeah, that is the general consensus. I'm just a bit tight on funds right now. My question for you is do the
VM30s slide right into the stock insulators? SUDCO sell them for the 360s but they say they use 32mm.
Buy 30s, they will try and push 32's but that's really too big for a street motor smaller than 450/500cc.
I believe they do slip in but don't quote me on that. The good thing is that your insulators are rubber and there's a little room if you have to squeeze'm in or clamp down to fit'm. Alternatively there are new ones that you can get your hands on so I wouldn't worry too much as long as they have the right nipple.
