CJ360T The Crust of Life (Rat Brat Racer Build) 2nd build

Got an issue with the kickstart. Im not sure what it is yet as I havent torn into the Right Crankcase, but sometimes the kickstart kicks the engine over and sometimes its just like stepping on a limp noodle. Any ideas what would cause this?

Thanks, Its really too bad cause, It seems most everytime I read on here, where someone has taken their bike to a local "professional". It just makes me cringe.
Too many times they come home BROKE and worse yet. Very disappointed w the work performed.

CJ360T The Crust of Life (Rat Brat Racer Build) 2nd build

Long over due post. I got a little prodding from another member and realized I hadn't done any updates. At the same time I've really been honing in on my 750f and developing our business so time has been short.

However here are some updates:
Soda blasted the engine but still has some grime keeping with the rattiness

Took the top apart and engine was beautiful. Replaced the head and cylinder gaskets and was able to push the cylinders right back on the pistons without compressing is this ok or is it going to be a problem?

Here is the head

The other thing I did was shave some thing's I knew I wasn't going to use off the Frame (seat mount, and rear stability crossmember) I also bobbed the rear to get it ready for a hoop and an fiber glass seat pan.

I installed the pistons in the jugs the same way...that I know of there is no problems.

awesome thats a huge relief :) Im going to try and find my sealing goo i got and put the valve cover back on. Thinking ill sand down the rest of frame and see what i have for old auto paint or krylon
