CL350 / CB360 "The Collision"

So, I have a 1972 CL350 that is in fair shape...(runs, but needs some help). I also have a CB360 that not in too bad of shape, but I haven't even tried to get it running. I bought both bikes about a year ago, and am just now beginning the cafe process. I plan to use the frame of the 360 with the engine of the 350, and make my own swingarm with an R6 mono-shock.

I can really use either engine, but from what I have gathered on this site, the 350 engine is a better platform to start from? Any opinions on this are welcome. I have created a few sketches of what I want the bike to look like, so let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

your going to have to extend that swinger a lot to have it look like your sketch. that, or be scrunched up in a really uncomfortable position.

i hope you know what your doing with the mono conversion. do it wrong and you can get seriously injured, or worse, the bike could be ruined! ;)

looks fun though. will be following.

as for 350 in the 360 frame... it fits, its a good motor to start from, etc... your just going to have to make your own mounts for it. lower is better.
