cl360 clubman install

So I bought clubmans, and am trying to figure out the best way to remove the wires from the stock handlebars.
Can i just clip the wires from the bar controls and re solder them?
Or will this open up a can of worms?

Some images of what parts you are talking about or the model bike you want info on would help heaps.....

I'd hazard a guess that soldering wires would lead to this:

LOL, ;D
Don't cut the connectors off, it will cause problems later

haha I should have known better.
Pictures are worth 1000 stupid questions.

I was just really hoping I wouldn't have to pull the headlamps and disconnect wires like a saw on another thread.
Guess there isn't an easier way. :-[

Here's the bike.

I'm not following the question. Do you just want to put the old controls on the new bars? If so just take the screws out of the control blocks and they'll pop in half so they can come off without cutting any wires. The wires and cables may end up being too long once the clubmans are on but you can deal with that once you know for sure. Or, again, maybe i'm not following the question

@flying ryan

The problem is the wires are in the bars, so once the controls are popped off they are just stuck there.
Im going to have to detach all the the wiring from behind the headlamp and pull them through the old bars.
Thus allowing the bars to come off and allow the new ones to be installed.

I may do just that, I don't have the time right now to spend all day on new bars. And im tired of looking at them uninstalled.

I used the dremel to cut the wires out. everything is installed but my throttle and housing just slide right off. what am i doing wrong?

Another good idea would be to take a dremel to the bottom case on your controls so that you can run the wires along the bottom of the bars rather than through them. Also, no need to cut the old bars completely, just spray some WD40 down the old bars and wiggle and pull on the wires after you have disconnected the bullet connecters from inside the headlight housing.

Edit: Should have read that you already cut the old bars.
