CL360 Front Fender

Been Around the Block
Morning, everyone.

My stock front fender for my CL360 is twisted and causes the forks to misalign whenever it's installed. The fork brace itself is twisted so that one side sits further forward than the other (where it bolts onto the fork).

So, two questions at once here:

1) Has anyone had success heating a brace up and bending it back? Or does that mess with the temper of a fairly critical piece of metal?

2) If I can't bend it back, can anyone recommend a decent replacement for my '74 CL360?

Are you talking about an actual brace or a fender?

If you mean the mounting plate that the fender is mounted to, then yes, that's a steel part (not tempered) that can be heated and formed. I would drill out the rivets and separate the fender from that piece first, though.
