Classic TT 2016

It's almost that time of year again for the Classic Manx. I'll be going over on 19th August for practise week and am finally taking my Weslake / Triton for a pootle around. My dad last took it around with the VMCC on a parade lap in 1998, so it will be cool to see it go round again.

So, who else is going?

Not me, but my friend Des will be there with his LC and TZ race biked, I know a couple of people who'll be racing in thr Manx, and my friend Chris went to the Manx in the 80s and decided to move there, he now manages a supermarket in Port Erin.

Sadly not me....although my very lovely girlfriend, Lucy, gave me the approval, I thought three holidays away without her was just unfair. Some of my buddies will be there though, notably my pal Timbo, on the Titan Scrambler. There's no mistaking it, I doubt there's another in the world like it ! Wave him down and say hello !

Just painted this with an additional set of plastics for the senior race. Scheme is along the same lines, but flips from yellow to black backgrounds so only race numbers need sticking on.

Will have wax and polishing cloths in the toolbox this year

Yep at last ile be over the water to get a few laps round the island on this old thing ha well at least start / finish line then into the grandstand / paddock for tea n cake look forward to saying hello to a few more DTTers lets hope for good weather and safe riding cant wait to see that black n yellow missile go down bray hill.
