Cool! I've wanted to see someone do one of these CM's. Welcome aboard. Looks like an ultra clean bike to start with. That will make it so much easier.

Thanks! Yeah it is a really clean bike I'm going to take some updated pictures tomorrow. Installed new rubber this evening, and only blew one tube in the process which i feel is not bad for the first time.

Well its been a while since I posted and I haven't taken a lot of photos but I do have a progress report so far I have, painted the wheels flat black, swiss cheesed the sprocket/chain cover, painted and shined the points cover, received and installed the roadster seat from roc city cafe, painted the front fender, lowered the headlight with new brackets, center mounted the battery, pulled all the wiring under the seat, put a K&N filter and a crankcase filter on, painted the tank, made my own rearset for the brake side out of 1/4" steel stock and bmx pegs and im still working on the shifter set but I put a msr peg on flipped around so I works for now..a little gp style haha, I also made my own exhaust pipes, still working on a muffler anyhoo on to some pictures let me know what you think

Re: Cm200 Twinstar Cafe , New Rearset Mounts!

Well it's time I updated and I actually took some pics while I was working on this segment of the project. I made new rearset mounts to clean up the framing and cause I could. I like them the foot position is amazing and they feel great on with the pics:

thanks, it makes it interesting when you have to have it ready to ride to work the next morning haha
I think im going to wrap the pipes either thursday or friday.

What type of paint did you use for your tank? the little dribbles from filling up are crackling mine.

Re: Cm200 Twinstar Cafe

So my best bud picked up a parts bike but all he wanted was the wanted dual disc set up which left the whole rest of the bike to play with including his single disc set up so......with some calculated decisions I grafted this:

After test riding it feels great the cornering is planted the steering is crisp and the damping is stiffer but smooth they came off a 250 so the height and spring weight worked out quite well plus I think they look cool

Where'd you get that seat with the integrated taillight and what is that tank from? I just picked up a CM200 and this is pretty much exactly the look I'm going for.
