Winter is back and the Cm saga continues.
After a year of tinkering i now understand why these bikes are available so cheap... but its still fun and the budget decides.
A new 360 tank, Cb900 shocks, Chopped 2 more inches off the seat and angled the rear sub frame, installed headlight (im not sure if I like yet), removed Center stand, and added fork boots.
A new a123 battery, mufflers, speedo, signals, tail light on the way.
Still need to clean up the frame, fenders, upholster seat, paint, rewire, make a tray for the electrons and battery.
I am considering lowering the forks, changing the sprocket ratio, changing rim size, and raking fork 3 degrees back. im not so exited about the Cans on the rear shocks either.
like i said, now i understand why these bikes are Cheap and available. not the best candidate for brat-trackers if only for lack of tire options!... good Clean winter fun and keeps up the hope of spring (-15f last night!).
admittedly, these are not great pictures. the basement is too small to get a sense of proportion and the stance, but im getting there. the new tank makes such a huge difference.
Does anyone know what coil replace the oem and fit under the tank? and will a led headlight plug and play?
