Complete CB200 Part Out

SullivanCB200

Been Around the Block
Hey Folks!

Long story short, I'm heading another direction. Found a local running CB125s I couldn't pass up. Anywho, like the title suggests, I have a complete (in pieces) 1974 (manufactured in '73) CB200 to part out. I am in the process of getting a new title - it's actually very easy in TN. This bike had a little over 4k on it when I "rescued" it from underneath someones deck. I'm currently in D.C. for the 4th and won't be home until Monday, so sorry no pictures up until then. All parts have been scrubbed like you would not believe and seem to be in good shape. I'm not going to take the time to list everything out. It is complete minus a piston. Either post on here or shoot me a pm. I'm a hardcore lurker on here, so I'll try and get back to everyone ASAP.

Thanks!

Just a side note I forgot to mention: All engine parts have been soda blasted/pressure washed/sonic cleaned whenever applicable. Other parts were cleaned with the magic concoction of Pinesol and water.

I wasn't planning on selling it whole. Unfortunately, it is worth significantly more selling it piece by piece. Things like the carbs which are going to come with David Silver Spare's rebuild kits and were soda blasted and sonic cleaned will fetch a hefty sum on Fleabay. I'm not expecting those prices on here at all, but I'd like to see a penny or 2 on this so I have funds for my other project. I'm more inclined to help fellow enthusiasts like yourself, but I can't lose a lot on this either. Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

I'd do $80 for the head and that includes the valves. The tank has been stripped and de-rusted. There is a pin size hole on the top from rust that will need a spot weld. Rubber is in pretty good shape and the trim pieces are really quite nice. I'd do $65 for just the tank or $100 with everything including the petcock which is fully functioning.

I'm sorry I,m on vacation and spacing out. The inside of the tank still has some surface rust and will need to be addressed. The locking mechanism for the fuel cap is also messed up but the cap is included.

I have never had this bike running. They seem to be in good condition, but I cant guarantee they work. I don't have any other bikes either, so do you know if there is a way i can test them for you? Last thing I wanna do is sell people on here broken stuff.

Soon as I get home I'll get some pictures up for ya. I do have both sides, but I don't think I have the covers. How does $20 for both sound?

Starter should work and SEEMS to be in better than fine condition. Came off a bike with a pinch over 4k miles... Hasn't been run in years though so can't guarantee the condition. If you know of a simple way I can test it I'll do it. Don't know if it would work on a cb350. You can have it for $15 plus shipping. Let me know what you're thinking.

Though I'd share that I have soda blasted/sonic cleaned the carbs and they come with unopened David Silver Spare's rebuild kits. Also have DSS complete engine gasket set. Cases were pressure washed, soda blasted, then pressure washed again. Frame was hand sanded down to bare metal then primed with rust inhibitor. Received 7 coats of paint and 4 coats clear coat with gun. gloss black. Wheels done the same way all gloss black.
