COST OF SHIPPING A BIKE

Hey guys, I've been trying to find some quotes online, but I have had no luck. Maybe I'm not searching the right way, or I'm looking at the wrong sites. Does any one know of any GOOD shipping companies in the southeast, and what kind of price I would be looking at from south Florida to Mobile, Alabama?

Usually 35 cents a mile is a good estimate for a uship style shipper. Email billhummeltransport@gmail.com and say James H mentioned you and he'll know who I am. I've used him for over 40 bikes but I'm unsure of his florida schedule.

Thanks James!! I will do that. Hopefully, he will be able to help me out. It's my bike that is in storage at my cousin's house in Titusville, FL, and I live in Mobile, AL. I know that having it shipped will be cheaper than me making the trip to get it myself, but I just haven't been able to find shipping rates. Is he usually cheaper than a lot of the other companies out there, like UShip for instance??

uShip is most often the cheapest route.

I got it done on uShip for under $300 from bum?&$! Kentucky to Dallas, TX. Basically, you enter what you're shipping and how much you want to pay, then the shippers will bid on your business with different quotes. You get what you pay for, but you can certainly get it done cheap if you like.
