COURT PAYMENTS SUCK! CL350 TYPE 1 PARTS FOR SALE

Jared

...Try the morphine, it's excellent today!
Well fellas and fellettes, it's finally time for this moment. I unfortunately have to sell my 3/4 finished 1969 Honda CL350 Type 1 Café build. Being young and dumb, I made some poor decisions I am now suffering the consequences for. So I have to sell the back burner project to someone who needs and can use the parts more than I. I am trying to get on my feet, find a job, get a place, and get back into building like I've wanted to for a long time. I just have to sell my bike in order to accomplish all that. I have a TON of parts for this bike. Rims, engine parts (including the desirable type 1 cam cough cough ;)) clip ons, etc. I don't mind tearing down the engine for a specific part you need. My prices are going to be super reasonable, just message me what you need and I'll see what I can do. Help me get back into the game while I help you finish your build. Thank you and message mw please, -Jared

Figure I should mention some of the goodies I have for the bike that were difficult to get, and some of the new parts I have as well.

2 New Mikuni slide carburetors

Brand new intake and exhaust valves that are freshly ground in the head

Type 1 Camshaft comes with rockers and tappets, I'll even throw in the Type 1 points cover.

The engine has less than 2,000 original miles and is freshly rebuilt. None of the parts had scoring, not even hairline :).

Please let me know what you need or are interested in. Thanks again, -Jared

Top-

Just to let everyone know, I'm tearing down the engine tonight. Rockers, tappets, and camshaft is still available. As well as good coils, carbs, headers, etc. I have a ton of parts and I am letting them go for cheap. Take it easy,

Thanks, -Jared

Hey guys,

Well as it goes, life being 18 (almost) 19 isn't as easy as I first thought it was. I'm still having an impossible time trying to find a job, and I'm putting I'm more hours looking for one than a full time job. My parents who are retired air force don't quite understand why an individual with little former experience is having as hard of a time as I am. So long story short they're kicking me out and I need a bit of cash to hold me by as I obtain a job. So these parts are going to go for sort cheap. Let me know what you need, anything helps and sorry for the sob story ha. -Jared

I hear the Armed Forces are hiring.

Sign up, get a trade. Get experience. Makes it easier to find a civilian job later

Just saying.

I am an Army veteran. Fwiw

. Joining the military was my original plan when I was in high school. When I was 17 I joined the navy, went to meps, and happened to be smart enough to be a nuclear engineer. About a month before I was supposed to ship to basic I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and they couldn't take me anymore for disability reasons.

:-[

Sorry to hear that....I was pretty rudderless when I joined, and it was instrumental in giving me a trade and direction and responsibility.

I was lucky, missed Vietnam by " " that much...But when I signed up, it was still going on. By the time I had to report for service, Nixon had pulled us out for the most part.

You need to get some credentials. I was very mechanical, but couldn't find that kind of job. After the military, I could choose the job. I had work 2 weeks after discharge, in the middle of Pres. Carters wonderful recession.

think about a trade school, maybe your parents would relent if you were moving forward with a goal.

I am now an engineer in the AC business. My company cannot find enough Skilled AC technicians. Skill Technical work is reasonably well paid (our tech actually make more than me), and is in demand.

Just an idea.....it sounds like you are in a tough spot, been there, done that....

Good luck either way....
