ok i'm stumped, i drive a Honda cb550K 1978, was riding home the other night when the throttle started sticking... shit factor 5 on the road i was on. stuck throttle, twisties, and some dip shit tail gater made for a very hairy situation. good part is i made it home. i was able to nurse the bike back to the garage and park it. so here is the stumper: when the bike is off the throttle is snapping back to the closed position perfectly. when the engine is running the throttle does NOT snap back to the closed position in fact it revs way high and takes much longer do get back to idle. so please some one know what the heck is going on with my damn throttle.
