Chp racing has a plated bolt kit for the ct. It covers all of the frame bolts and has the correct stampings on the bolt heads if that is what you want but......it's 90 bucks also. Lol. I'm about to start buying parts to finish mine up one micro fische at a time.
Yeah. I see theirs. I'd rather have the Allen key heads. if I was doing a factory restore (which will most likely be my next bike) is consider it.
I haven't pulled the trigger yet on bolts. I'm going to hold off on everything until I get everything back from powder. I need to assess the level of which I'm taking this rebirth. At this point there's nothing being untouched.
This CMS link lists all bolts by diameter and length http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-ct70-trail-70-1977-usa_model7454/partslist/ it will take a little time to write them all down but then you can order stainless Allen head bolts from bolt depot.com. They will come bagged by size. They are fairly reasonable and ship quickly. I replaced every bolt on my cb100/125 build and I think it was about $60 total

Well. A good portion of the parts are back from powder and are currently being held hostage at Mothgils shop haha. Here's the teasers I was given that I will now give to you guys.
Just to follow up. My daughter picked out the white. She wants blue grips with lots of blacks and gray. Said I need a plate that says R2D2. I liked it and went with it haha.

No wheels or tires yet. I just realized i forgot to order wheel bearings and new stem bearings.
I've mainly just sat down in the shop today and stared at it. Everything is about to come together real fast. Just painted the shocks black to hold me over until I decide on what I want to do there. I'm in process of cleaning 37 years of dirt and debris off the wire harness.
It's a pretty basic harness haha. Just like the rest of the bike.
