Cult Of The Cafe Racer

This is neat and ive seen it before. the only thing i dont like is that they make NO mention of Hondas when they talk about the different bikes. The fact is, Hondas gave the Brit bikes all they could handle, and they were a hell of a lot more reliable. Instead of a 109735973 step process to get your bike running, you simply went out, tickled the carb, gave it some choke and kicked it over. Let it warm a minute or two and you were on your way.... Not crackin on the Brit bikes. I love em, but it would be nice to see even our TonUp Boys give some credit where credit is due.

I agree 100% with you on that one... In fact it was the Jap bikes that literally destroyed the British motorcycle industry.

lol....well they did me a favour...british bikes are ok for show but if you want to go somewhere and get there, sixties and seventies maybe some eighties japs are still the best. I had Bantam's and a matchless 250 but only cos they were cheap. just think trying to do the things you can get away with on jap bikes on British ones... scary... lol xx

Wicked video.

I didn't hear much mention about the types of bikes anyway... one girl described a triton, and another dude said "british motor preferrably" sounds pretty open to me!

I want to go back there some day when I know there is gonna be a cafe racer rally.... When I was there it was mostly newer bikes.

Also, the video makes me want to do some power upgrades and loose the clubmans. lol.
