custom length brake/clutch/throttle cables

Does anyone know of a good outlet for such things? Can stock cables be shortened?

I recently made cables for my latest project. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I'd expected.
Flanders carries all the caps and end barrels. I used a china cup for a crucible to melt
the solder with a torch. The only thing I couldn't duplicate was crimping the end caps.
Still looking for a suitable crimping tool.

About the throttle cable, I was going to suggest making one of these, but I can see that someone already does, Flanders! Thanks for the link.

I have used stuff like this on my bicycle sometimes, in a pinch. ha ha.. in a pinch.

Thanks for the replys. The stock cables are just bothering me but I have a set of Roundslides I want to make a custom split cable for. That flanders site looks like the place to be.
