Cyclone Yasi in Australia

Don't know if there are any North QLD DTTers, but if there are - stay safe people.

This one is going to rip through Cairns in about 12 hours time....and it's a Cat 5 cyclone with expected wind gusts of up to 320KPH To put that into perspective, hurricane Katrina had wind gusts up to 280KPH..... :-\

the weathers been reall screwy lately... chicago is supposed to get a snowstorm of 3 inches or more per HOUR. and winds of 50 mph.

Chicago is experiencing hurricane type wind without the rain, the wind is so strong snow is not sticking to the ground in some areas. My garage door has about 2 feet of accumulated snow vs my neighbor across from me with zero snow on his door, everyone on our side has snow accumulation. Well here is a short vid, too bad you can't really hear the wind howling because of the double windows, but the house shakes from time to time.
