Did anyone from the OH make it out to the Walnecks Swapmeet a few weeks ago??

bad assed, super fast and fully gassed
Just curious.. I was out there and man if i'd have had a trailer with me there were tons of RUNNING project bikes to be had on the cheap...everything from a few BSA's, crazy amount of Triumphs, to your standard fare of CB's. They had some MINTY restored CBX's in the vintage show too...those things are so sweet but so ginormous. They had some gorgeous Kaw Z1900's and Z1000's for under 4grand. Yeah it's pretty pricey for a bike you're going to rip apart, but they weren't trailer queens and a Z would make a WICKED cafe.

Let us know if you hear of any other swap meets. Sounds like a good time.

I went to the October meet. Quite a few Trumpets, and a few of everything else. Seemed like if you were after old Harley hardware or wanted to build a bobber or chopper, this was the place. I did score a couple of Keyster carb rebuild kits for $5 ;D. I am definietly going to try and hit it next August. I 'm thinking the warmer weather will increase the # of vendors and such.
