DIY exhaust fail

I saw that on GSTwins. It's been said before: "Any publicity is good publicity" but tgisis the exception to the rule. The admin seemed kind of proud how many people were joining the site and views of the thread. That isn't the kind of thing I would want people to see.....

Somebody points out that it isn't actually the author that did all that. Fact of the matter is, SOMEBODY did actually do all that.

That is some ugly exhaust work.

Some sites love the attention be it bad or good. Think back to the guy who cut holes in new Kawi's frame for speed. Or the Audi owner that poured sand down his intake while the car was running for a cheap port and polish. :D And a personal favorite pouring NoS energy drink in a sport bike's fuel tank thinking it is octain booster.

I went over to Home Depot yesterday bu I didn't see a motorcycle section. Will have to go and check Lowes tomorrow.

Yeah, the dog bit the guy! Poor dog must have burning eyes or worse :(

That guy is truly a moron. But, you know, Shervin is still in a league of his own.

There is no way in hell that exhaust was lighter than teh stock one once he was finished butchering and fucking it. Hell, I have absolutley NO FRIGGEN CLUE about bikes but I am managing to do a better job than that!

This is awesome skippi, but im definatly not going to undertake one of these projects. I do admire you for doing it, but i have no skills.
Uhhh I am also in mondo awe of this guys fab skills. WOW!

Added this to the knowledge base
Ummm, cause other people need to know how to crap on their own stuff? I am sure they can figure that out by themselves!

Problem #1: you can't braze worth a damn, it's not hard to make it pretty.
Problem #2: you're completely and utterly without common sense.
YES!

Welcome to the site. Way to introduce yourself and make a good first impression... or not
in reference to problems #1 and #...
NO! Don't chase away the person who seems like they might know something about something!

So you're encouraging others to be this dumb?
And this makes me have faith on the world. :D

Great Work and write-up

I am a noob, can you explain the purpose of this thing?
Thats called an anchor, it makes things go slow. This does it by adding useless weight!

Aight, I'm done for now. My cranky ass has to complete some arrest reports.

I am in awe............I mean how could..........why would..........what the fuck was...........

Fuck it.....my eyes hurt!

Sweeet Jeees-us... WTF was that?

Yeah, that was bad. I'm usually content with drilling a few well thought-out holes in the muffler baffles and leaving it be. Hell, he could even have cut one pipe off altogether and simply capped the end - saving the weight of a whole muffler. But that monstrosity? Awful, just awful...

I think I need a drink - boingk
