Greetings from down under!

1st of all . Luv this Forum! always inspiring!

2nd. I m buiding CB250T 1980, and the target look is bad ass look cafe racer.
I want to keep the tank and get rid of the wheels and exhaust. In my understanding
cafe racer is best with spoke wheels and scrambler exhaust, just like Honda CL.

Questions:
- Would it be possible to replace the comstar wheels with the spoke ones?
what should i consider? the size of the hubs? or they are all the same? Would it be
easier or would it be perfect match if i replace the wheels with older CB250 wheels?
- Are all the CL's exhaust pipes the same? i have someone who can copy it from
CL125twin.

Cheers. Thanks!

If you don't mind a bit of machining, you could convert the Comstars to spokes:

Wouldn't think it would be worth it either except in the example shown where it's for a shaft drive and you cant just swap to another wheel. I've thought about this for the spare set of wheels I have for my CX and may get to it one day.

Hey mate

I have looked into it for my CB250T. I think these guys will rebuild your wheels. Might cost a pretty penny though. http://www.hagonoz.com.au/

Getting a scrambler exhaust is a bit of a mission. I am just going to put these end cans on my pipes (less the massive converter) http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp%3bjsessionid=5N23JS2IU5ZEVLA0WTVSM4VMDK0NCIV0?store=&skuId=431287&mmy=

Ditch the tank mate! I got a sweet little CB360 tank for it and it looks heaps better $75 from a wrecker.

Cheers
