Drilling CB 360 oil passage? Where???

so i have my motor apart, and i want to know where to drill and cant find the thread that recommended where

any suggestions?

that's probably as much a lack of oil problem as it is a poor bearing design. the middle bearing isn't even oil fed, it's splash and drip fed. I have a thread somewhere on running needle rollers on the end bearings and converting the center bearing to pressure fed. drilling the passages technically won't increase the pressure of the oil at the bearings, only the potential flow rate, and my guess is that the way the oil passage sits at the bearing, the orifice at the base of the cylinders in the top case isn't the limiting factor.

Here here .

my take on the situation, if i am taking my motor apart and there is a tiny little mod that may save me a few dollars down the road and improve the situation, ill take what i can get for free :)

sean... your mod is obviously the better one...

but the issue with the 360s was that the passages were too thin, and the oil would simply not be able to flow at high rpm. PJ has mentioned a few times to enlarge the passages, im just not sure how.
