The price on the book varies depending on the promotional deal applied. Sounds like you may have paid full price, but with shipping to Canada it seems reasonable. I paid nearly that much myself in the US for my copy. Thanks for the support and I hope you enjoy the book!

should be great, lots of good builds here.
will have my cb500f ready for the next one. the next issue sounds like its going to be even better,
any way,
great work and thanks again.

This topic should be pinned at the top of the page.
I remember when this post first started but forgot about it. I thought you were still working on it when I accidentaly stumbled across the book on the internet. Im' sure a lot more people would be interested if they knew about it.

Well we tried to spread the word. Where on the net did you see it? I think you can still order one if you want, just follow the method used earlier in this thread. Thanks for the support!

There was some talk about volume 2, including get some other members involved in the sorting of photos and write-ups, it just didn't solidify as I think people are just busy. I am still up for putting together Vol. 2 if there is enough interest, as it takes a fair amount of time. Maybe someone could setup a poll (I haven't figured out how to set one up here) to see what interest level there is for the next book. We discussed adding a couple sections to, such as bobbers, BOTM etc. Open to ideas and volunteers!

And there are many people, like myself, with a lot of writing experience that would be happy to contribute in any way possible.

OK VonYinzer, Well I'll do the layout and graphics like last time if you work with the members to get submissions. The key is high resolution images and organization so we don't mix up the pics. Abull, if you want to do the write ups for each section and run them by Noel, along with editing written submissions from members for spelling, grammar and length that would be good. Many hands make light work, maybe we can get this ting done in half the time it took last time. A lot of the hand ups last time was chasing folks around for better images or member info and write-ups, which required deadline extensions. I think the format is pretty well set and adjustments can be made to conserve pages as they incur extra charges beyond a set limit and up the cost of the book.

If we can get this together right it could be cool.

Of course I will handle the publishing end of things and proofs. Last years final book was around $75, many members got it for less due to promotions, some at half price, or free shipping or buy one get one. I think that price should be the max for the book, or less if possible.

I still think it would get more attention if it was pinned to the top of the page so you saw it every time you logged in to the fourm. Or better yet make it a header.
As for how I found it, I just typed in "Do The Ton" in my browser and one of the sites that came up (I blieve it was the publishing company) showed a Do The Ton book for sale. My first thought was " Hey how come I haven't heard of this?"
I'm sure i'm not the only one.
