Greetings from central Iowa!!
I have been following this thread for a few weeks and finally it has been nice enough to join in. Here is a picture of my first bike/project, a 73 CB500.
I would like to see the next picture in front of a "short bus". I know there are lots of special people out there....
LOL At one time the above was true; back when the question "How many miles per gallon do you get?" would have been met with, "WTF are you talking about??" ;D
The "You must have taken the short bus to school..." thing certainly stuck but today, they are used for economical reasons as well so to most younger folks, it no longer means anything. Those from my generation know exactly what it means though.
Gone are the days of full sized buses with only 8 kids on board. Short buses are common place now, not just for the handicapped.
Yeah buddy, looks good to me!
Props on finding not only one but two short buses. Too bad you didn't catch any "helmet wearing window lickers" in your pics...
oooh I might be able to bag this one on lunch, I live in Canadas oldest Incorporated town! just not sure if the sign has the incorp date on it. Incorporated May 1, 1856

Ha, I missed getting the sign pic yesterday...last minute meeting and no lunchtime ride, going to try and bag it tonight if no one else does before me, and that is a very short bus. I want it.
The area I live in was not build until the 1920s. Even before then it was only settled in the 1865s as a lumber camp. No signs around here or I would be onto it as well.
I suck, rode right past the sign doing 90 mph on the highway and remembered I was supposed to stop about a mile past it. To late and can't make a U turn on the divided highway. If someone doesn't bag it first I will try to remember tonight.
