The road I was on is interesting - it's an auxiliary access to a former TB hospital; a few years ago I got to do the title research on the property as the State gave that land to the local university. We found that the access road had never been granted to a municipal authority and title is still held by a family that acquired it in the mid 1800s - but nobody wants to accept responsibility for maintaining it, so it just serves as a place for people to dump garbage and break wheels :
