Damned winter. There are three of those effin' markers within eyesight of my house. Probobly 20 of them across my town.

A couple of years ago, on a local forum, we had a year long Historical Marker scavenger hunt for charity. With each marker one submitted, they would pledge a dollar to the pot. The one who posted the most markers won a (donated) steak dinner, and all the proceeds collected from everybody who entered went to Childrens Hospital. All totaled (iirc) we raised about $600. I won, and had tagged almost 250 Markers in four states.

Scott said I could call it since I knew where it was (about 5min from my house), but I said if it weren't for him I wouldn't have drug the bike out the house to go get it. So I figured we'd collaberate on it. I texted Scott a few ideas for the next mark. As soon as he gets home, off his bike, and answers his phone... I'll post the next mark.
 
Ok, since the typical motorcycle stereotype is hooligan lawbreaker, and it would be reletively easy to get a pic of your bike in front of a cop car with the lights on.
The mark is... Your bike behind a cop car with it's lights/strobes on. Bonus points if you can get the cop on your bike while you pretend to write the ticket ;)

Nice shot guys, and yeah I have a dozen within 20-30 min ridding of here, there one every time a hwy or interstate crosses the Chisholm Trail. Most of the old town sites have them as well.

Next mark is awesome!
 
Redbird, the time limit for this mark has expired. Do you want to let it ride for another couple days or set a new mark. It's up to you................... 8)
 
Man, I can't believe that one hasn't been clipped yet! It seems so easy to just ask a cop to help out.
Eh, let it ride 'till the weekend. If nobody claims it by then, I'll call another one.
 
What was I thinking? Lat week a cop stopped a car outside our house with all the lights on and I was too pre-occupied to drag a bike out to take a picture. Snooze and lose I guess.
 
If this rain ever stops I might actually take my bike out this time home! Ridiculous it is..
