DID YOU READ THE STUFF BETWEEN THE FR***IN' PICS!?!?!?

NOT TO TAKE THE PISS, BUT READ THE DAMNED PICS BEFORE MAKING A F***IN' JUDGMENT, MATEY!!!! NO MEANS TO DISRESPECT, BUT READ THE WHOLE BLOODY THING BEFORE MAKING A JUDGMENT, PLEASE!!!!!

no offense but joe is one of the nicest guys on this website and he means no harm by what he says. next time try kindaly pointing out the text rather than being a d-bag and take the criticism which is handed to you, if you dont like the criticism then dont post. just my $.02

woah there, cool yer jets.
this isn't the kinda thing you'd post without pictures in the first place, cause all you'll get is people asking for pictures.
personally, i only post my shit up when it's either a) finished or b) in need of the talent on here.
it's been a week since you started the thread, and results aren't forthcoming. plus, you'll have massive egg on your face if you don't finish, or it looks like shit and you prove your thread title wrong in the process.

of course I will finish.

I have had a few more 40's of good Malt liquor before this is finished. Maybe I am a bit defensive. A lot of people want to say I can't do shit. I am just a guy who barely finished highschool and feels he has a lot to prove.

Again, I mean no disrespect back, but I feel I have to be somewhat defensive in what I have done.

I also still don't feel like anyone has read what I have done, including the fact I haven't quite completed what exactly I was going to do with the number plate. I tought I had mae that clear. I apologise if I hadn't made that clear.

I don't mean to yell, and I won't modify to make it clear I acted like an ass.

nah, i read it and caught that. like forcefanajd, i saw your reflex towards joe and pricked my ears, hoping to clear the air.

don't worry, you're not the only one on here who barely finished highschool and feels like they still need to prove something. i bet we're in the majority.

I am certain he is a nice guy. I never said he wasn't, and I didn't take it personally, except that I don't feel anyone read everything between the photos. I mean nothing, except I have had t defend everything I have ever done in my life, including what was done right.

Please, I IMPLORE Y'ALL TO READ BETWEEN THE PICS, PLEASE!?!??!!!???

I will show I am NOT an heir to the Massengill Empire!!!!

Again, I mean NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE HERE!!!!

i just felt that nobody read what I was saying. I haven't fi nished this project, notr have I painted the said Truxton fairing. I was merely trying to figure out how to cover that ugly, 8" hole. Had that asshole (and he is reading this!!!) not decided to cheap out and go ghetto-botylicious on me, we wouldn't even HAVE THIS F***ING THREAD!!!!!

Believe me, if he had decided to go with the 7" H3 headlamp I included, we would have NO F***ING thread here!!!!

I aks all of y'all to read everything I write before passing judgment!!!!

Okay- I am a grade-A bag-o' shower for being o defensive.

I could have aksed y'all to read the post again. I really thought I had told y'all to re-read it before posting y'all's judgments. I had assumed y'all's knew I had not painted or mounted said Thruxton fairing, yet.

Sorry I came off as a guy who was mixed with vinegar and water, having a rose-tipped applicator, as I don't want to come off as a man of French Shower leanings.... I was drunk and defensive, that's all...

Okay- I finally have pics, so stop your kvetching!!!!

I don't have the fairing painted yet, but I have test-mounted the number plate that will cover the 8" hole. After some hand-wringing and a few botched attempts at finding the mounting holes (hence the stickers all over the plate), I will be able to get a nice, fibreglass number plate and use this plastic one as a template. I think an oval plate may work better, but the square was all I could find.

Here it is- I said I had found how I was going to cover 8" hole in Thruxton fairing, meaning I haven't mounted fairing yet- I guess I didn't make it clear that fairing was neither painted nor mounted- is this possibly a "stay tuned-" post?!?!?

I mean no disrespect, but I wish you would read the whole thing and ask suxh a question like: "whe will you show us the whole picture?" or something like that....

no worries man. i read between the posts. thing that i did not understand is a thruxton faing looks like the one below.i was more confused, using a flat plate to cover a round hole is going to look a bit strange. have you thought of filling that 8 in hole with something round, even a piece of tuperwar or a pan to fit. bolt that in and run the lights though the ends of that, would still give you a nice cone at the end and allow for the duel projections. i was just confused cause the fairing looked like a dirt tracker fairing and nothing like a Thruxton style fairing. that is

Hey bunnyman, I was not meaning it get on your case, and I was not trying to attack you personally. I feel like DTT is a great community and we all force each other to do better work. I have heard Joe say it a few times... sometimes he has to start over cause something he was going to do would end up being lower quality than what is expected of him. All I wanted to say is that next time, use a hole saw... they are cheap and work wonders, if you don't want to buy a whole set you can buy the individual sizes that you need.

We all really just want people to step up their game here, thats all, "help you help yourself" sort of thing.

Cheers

I hope your not riding around with that board on, with it blocking your turn signals and all.... just don't want you killing yourself is all.

I have some stickers here to offer up, if that's waht it needs to finish it and we get to see what the ... this thread is all about.

Just leave the seventies Superbike look. It looks cool enough as it is.

It ain't my bike anymore.

However, and the photos will come soon, btw- the number plate got reshaped into a circle to cover the Thruxton flyscreen, which leaves the indicators visible. A replacement fibreglass round plate is to come with much better-shaped light cut-outs.

And for those who said I had too many stickers on the plate, they have been removed and the plate is now covered with carbon fibre number plate material. Again- the plate is a TEMPORARY solution.

Sorry about yelling in all caps earlier.
