man I fucking love those widebodies.. absolutely killer dude. cant wait to see your bike come together, looking real mean in that bright color you got there.

Thanx MJ :)
So no progress for a while, been making a few seat units
I'm also back on to the car as I need to get some money together :(

I did however do a tiny bit of carbon overlay,
It's a 400 four side panel ,the carbon was just a rough bit,the weave is rubbish as it was folded up but I'm happy with the look of it an finish :)
I think the tank has now found its finish ;)

Cheers Wayne :D

Nice carbon work. They look smoother that the pair I did. After I wrapped my side covers, I pulled the original plastic covers out to leave thin light C/F covers.

Thanx buddy ;)

Yea it's all in the prep after you skin them,
I'm defo Guna be doing a lot more of this, love the fact u can cover almost anything.

Fork legs, huuuuum ::)

Cheers Wayne :)

Having a few weeks off the bike I'm back at it now, :D
Made a carbon seat unit and I now have the new fuel cap tacked in ready for tigging up ;D

Much better than the old flip cap ;)

Cheers Wayne

Lol I wish!
It's all wet lay at the moment, getting a few pin holes but nothing a bit more resin won't cure :)
Cheers buddy :D

At long last I painted a wheel up, sand blasted then epoxy then base coat then a satin clear coat.
To say I'm happy with the colour is an understatement , I fecking love it!!

Can't wait to get the rubber on now.
Cheers Wayne :)

Really like what you did with the filler cap... Damn you for making me want to do that to mine, though! Lol

Thank you men :)
The brown is a RR colour, think its called walnut,it's the mat clear that makes it tho.

Dude the filler cap was from flee bay, comes with the neck to,it's just a Motorsport filler.

It's just another detail that makes the difference :D

Cheers Wayne :)

:) Mr two smoker, , wanted something a bit different like an old brass cap or something but I could never seem to find out,
This was my next option, the only issue is I need to drill a tiny vent hole in the center, part from that it works well :)
Thank you buddy

Wayne :)

If you dont want to run a long breather tube they make small breather tops for dirt bikes to make it easy to pull the gas cap off and not have to mess with a long tube .

:)Mr dread,
Cheers buddy, ill keep that in mind if I do get any probs.
I love the cap an want to keep it as it is if I can.,
My dads old triumph has a small vent hole , suppose its got like a anti splash kinda thing in the cap tho ???
Cheers buddy

Wayne :)

Hello chaps :)

So I have been making a few seat units in carbon, but!

Wet lay with carbon is hard work, I need a vac pump to get the best results but I've had fun trying.
I will paint the seat unit but I'm going to leave some carbon on show, the whole seat in carbon is too much.

Oh an I now have a front tyre fitted , happy days 8)

Cheers Wayne :)
