Hey guys. Thought 'd take tonight to time my ignition and try and fire this baby up. My issue is that I'm not getting power to my coils and points (which is the only thing I've hooked up). I think the problem is here. Can someone tell me what this is and if that empty bolt and nut is supposed to be just grounded?

Checked my manual(s) and couldn't find the answer. It's probably there but I'm just having a tough time reading it. I'm only getting power to one port in the fuse box, and I think the power to the rest is being cut off from this thing. Please help. Thanks, guys.

OK figured out its the starter solenoid and I'm good on that front. But my next question is do i need to somehow disengage the kill switch function on my harness to get a spark? The reason I ask is I'm not getting power anywhere on the harness except the first fuse in the line. The next three are powerless.

The kill switch only completes the power wire to the coils, it doesn't affect anything else like lights. But if the killswitch isn't completing the coil circuit, the plugs won't spark. If that's the case, you may just want to directly connect the hot wire (the wire that becomes live after you turn on the ignition switch) to the coil positive wire. That will bypass the kill switch.

Thanks man! I'll give that a shot. Can I do the same to each of the points?

Well I'm not getting spark at my points either. Out of the 4 fuses, I'm only getting power to the main fuse. Electrical is not my strongest suit, so I'm having a tough time.
