Electronic Analog Tach?

I've decided to do away with the stock guages on my Cafe, and am just going with an electronic tach.
I want an analog faced tach, but can't find any for twin cylinders that go past 8 grand.
It seems as though most custom bike aren't high revving!
Any hints on where to go???
Thanks,
Crash!

So you want an electroinic tach w/ a traditional clock face...?

Whats the point?

Smaller and it will sit less proud than what I have.
It will also eliminate the drive cable from the motor and will look way cleaner.
Here's what I have now......

You've already got a custom top clamp. So I would ditch the stock guage mounts and fab something that lets them sit down a bit. I'm sure you can find a digital tach w/ traditional face. But it will probably cost you more than you paid for bike.

EVERYTHING will cost me more than I paid for the bike.........I got it free!
I've contemplated moving the stock guages, lowering them, making a new bracket, ect, but I've made the decision to go with the electronic tach.
I was hoping for some insight on where to find what I wanted.......

I am on the hunt for a good replacement for my 77' cb400f.... red line at about 10,000

did you ever find anything?

I have been looking and Louie is right about cost, everything is mad expensive and hard to find.... i will let you know what i end up doing.

That is exactly what I'm looking for.....

Hey.... I think my tach may be bad and am going to do some troubleshooting tonight. If i needed a new tach would you sell to me? Cost?

IF I can find a suitable electronic tach.........yes, I will sell mine to you!
Great shape...

Sweet... i will let you know tonight what i find out. I believe all i need to do is get the bike running, which might take a sec since i need to put the tank back on and trouble shoot some wiring, and disconnect the tach line an make sure its spinning behind the tach. If no spin in line=new line, if spin=new tach.

Any idea on price you would want to sell at?

Don't know about the price, yet.......

edit: HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you seen the price of NOS tachs on Fleabay??????
