It sure would help cover the scratches from his jacket...lol... But we can buff those out. He was upset at the scratches and I told him not to worry about it. That is how we learn from our scratches.Maritime said:Nice, that might look good on the tank sides as well. That fender turned out awsome. I am about half way through that same process on the rear cowl I made so I know the work you did.
Cheers.
when I was a kid my dad talked about baked enamel but we didn't have on oven big enough for the 37 olds we were working on. Lol I think we will be able to use only one can of each colorcklamer said:Love it! SHAKE & BAKE! ;D
Lolcklamer said:I used to do rental property and when I was working on a house I was also rebuilding a 1979 camaro Z28 so I was using the ovens in the houses to bake my parts while I did other repairs.
Of course someone would come in later and asked why it smelled so strongly of paint and I would just tell them i did some touch up work.
I would always have some spray cans with me to like spray some sealant on some pipes and as long as I could show them where I had no problems.
Of course the next chicken they baked tasted like my headers. LOL ;D
Teazer or....turbocharge. I am thinking about motor number 2. Now if we are serious about doing the ton on a CB200 being 6'5 217 then it is quite apparent we are going to need more HP. The guy that built this on his CB350 didn't get more than stock HP out of it...said he only spent $700 but I don't believe that. Now at one time I was 6'5" and 165 pounds and I have the discipline to go back there so I can drop 40 pounds no problem LOL. We are still gonna need a boost in HP so my son can say, "my dad did a ton on a 200cc bike and everybody told him it was impossible because he was 6'5" 217." Now my dad took my 5hp briggs and scrap iron and chucked it and bought me a 2 stroke mucolloch. So we can strap a two stroke on and gain HP but we want to do it with the 4 stroke Stock Motor. I'll I know it was 30 mph and then 65 mph 5hp to 12hp in a little package...with tons of compression.teazer said:The answer is 1.6mm on a 175 and 1.85mm on a 200, but the valves would hit the piston, so you would deepen the pockets and that would decrease compression, so then you would take some more off....
may Godspeed be with you! Thank you! What would your recommendations be to keep enough clearence-squish and valve?teazer said:You can get a thinner copper gasket from Cometic or just machine some off the block.
In general terms, raising compression increases cylinder pressure which adds torque at all engine speeds. It also raises the speed at which the pressure rises, so it is not unusual to need less spark advance. In some cases, that pressure rise is way too early and hurts top end, but a 200cc Honda can't reach that point, so it's largely academic.

You will want to use a megacycle cam on engine #2 and pay attention to aerodynamics and how well you can tuck in. A fairing sure would help so think about a Dunstall/Ducati 900SS style top half at least.
lmao very close!MJPriceisright said:what are your options for a turbochargers on a motorcycle? im assuming something really small and compact. that motor in the previous post with the turbo installed looks awesome. I couldn't imagine what you are going to look like on this bike at that height..
Teazer we have made the seat adjustable for mini me and maxi me. we plan on a fairing and will check them out. We are ordering a .127 mm cu base gasket and a .254 mm cu head gasket. My aftermarket base gasket measured .55 mm and my head gasket was 1.45. Compressed I am using .33mm and 1mm respectively for calculations leaving a decrease of .203 on the base and a .746 mm on the head for a total of .949 mm.teazer said:For your height, shift the seat back a "few" inches to get into a tight tuck and start from there. You could also use a "full size" fairing from say a TD3 to hide behind.
I have my eye on a cl175 engine with no carbs for engine 2. Sonreir said the 175 was a better engine to modify? Do you agree?teazer said:For your height, shift the seat back a "few" inches to get into a tight tuck and start from there. You could also use a "full size" fairing from say a TD3 to hide behind.
pm sent thanks your bike is a babe!alec.korver said:Yes, it does have more hp. I've got a cb175 engine if you are interested. Was running in the fall. Let me know.
