Father Son 75 CB200T Rise From the Ruins

I think the second picture has better placement. I also think that because of the lamp being chrome it stands out more and makes it look a little larger than it is. What if it was the blue of the bike?
our original plan was to paint it but we kinda fell in love with the chrome... But that may change. Thnk you!

Thanks for your kind words and constructive criticism. We recessed the head light...as Bert said we don't want to have our lady look like a ho. Big headlights do run in the family and well we are Texans...

Looking good Texas. I think that once there is a bit more on the bike the headlight will blend a bit better.

I feel all left out with you and Bert speaking Dutch. I never got taught it as my Opa en Oma started speaking English once they emigrated to Australia. They moved from Gouda.

Not sure if you have any plans for your engine or not, but I HIGHLY recommend milling the head. The performance boost I got from milling my head was significant. I have a guy here that does it for $35.00 bux. This is hands down the best thing I did to the bike.

I wasn't a big fan of that headlamp, but in profile it's interesting the way that the top of it continues a sight line to the top of the tank.

Reminds me of a sixties Spanish bike for some reason.

thanks! Did you eliminate the gasket between the jug and crank and use three bond?

Don't do that. Use the gasket and check for deck height and squish clearance and then machine the barrels and/or head as required.

would love to see some pix

as teazer said, I kept my gasket, used it as reference, and milled the deck height. Always run with a gasket.

Will do! Thanks guys! We took her out for a test ride.

So awesome that he has been involved and excited about it the whole way. Bike looks good and that light being recessed a bit makes all the difference IMHO.

Are you going to continue that red stripe along the seat pan? That would probably look pretty sharp. Really digging that headlight too, keep up the good work!
