I don't know much about the gas tank, I bought it at a swap meet. But apparently some guy in England build a few Thompson Suzuki's back in the sixties, I guess this tank came of one of those bikes. There are similar imitation tanks for sale (at least, over here they are).
 
Thanks. I was hoping to make a new (longer) on this summer, if I can find the time.
